Theory
Each Robot assisted surgery team, made up of a surgeon, an assistant and an OR nurse, needs to complete training and pass the test (functionality of the control system, clinical features and preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative applications).
Hands-on skills
Members of a Robot assisted surgery team must complete practices as their own roles and pass the test (basic operations and team work performed by surgical robot, preparation and management of devices and instruments).
Simulated surgery training stage
Each robotic surgery team has to perform surgical procedures on simulated surgical scenario to master the process and practice of surgical and teamwork skills before it receives proper assessment and certificate of training.
Clinical practice
We will discuss and work out the surgical plan with surgeons together, and assist in surgical procedures to help surgery teams acquaint themselves with all devices and instruments, perform procedures and achieve their goals.
