🤝We are pleased to share a major milestone: the first Edge® multi-port surgical robot in India has been commercially installed at HCG Hospital Bengaluru, the flagship hospital of HCG Group – one of the largest cancer care networks in the country.   Led by Dr. Raghunath K, Head of Uro-Oncology & Robotic Surgery at HCG, the team successfully completed the first four clinical surgeries using a "mentor-guided, hands-on rotation" model. The procedures included two cases of radical prostatectomy + extended pelvic lymph node dissection (ePLND) + bilateral inguinal hernia repair, and two cases of radical prostatectomy + ePLND – all complex uro-oncological procedures.   💬"The Edge system feels smoother, the instruments are highly agile, and the visual field is exceptionally clear," said Dr. Raghunath, who has over 21 years of experience and has performed more than 4,500 surgeries. "What impressed me most is how quickly my team picked it up. They were all using Edge for the first time in live surgeries, yet within a very short time, they were able to complete key steps independently.
