Within two days, Director Wang Yinfeng from the Yuhang Campus Gynecology Department successfully completed three surgeries using the single-port robot: transvaginal combined single-port iliopectineal ligament suspension, ovarian cystectomy, and total hysterectomy—covering three major areas: pelvic floor reconstruction, benign ovarian tumor resection, and hysterectomy. All three procedures were performed with minimal blood loss.

Notably, two months earlier, the team had successfully performed the first transvaginal single-port robot-assisted pelvic floor reconstruction surgery at Women's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, utilizing natural orifices to achieve non-invasive surgery.

The patient presented with multiple high-risk factors including severe pelvic organ prolapse, multiple uterine fibroids, obesity, and a history of multiple abdominal and pelvic surgeries. The team customized an individualized surgical plan: transvaginal single-port robot-assisted total hysterectomy and bilateral adnexectomy, simultaneously performing sacral ligament high uterosacral suspension, cystocele repair, anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair, and perineal old laceration plasty—a one-stop pelvic floor reconstruction. The entire procedure was performed through the natural orifice (vagina), requiring no abdominal incisions.
